My name is J-Hunn (Jay).

 

The philosophy behind my work is rooted in the meaning of my Chinese name, 恆—a character that represents perseverance, consistency, and commitment. These values shape every aspect of my approach to tattooing, from developing and refining each design to executing every tattoo with precision and care. I believe tattoos should remain meaningful and timeless throughout a lifetime.

 

My work is a balance between technical precision and artistic expression. Rather than limiting myself to a single style, I specialise in dark illustrative concepts and black & grey tattooing, drawing strong inspiration from Eastern art and my Chinese heritage. With a focus on clean composition, refined detail, and thoughtful contrast, I create pieces that are both visually striking and designed to age gracefully.
